The record-breaking group, Eslabon Armado, who are the first ever Musica Mexicana group to
reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200, has defied cultural barriers to surpass all expectations in
the most unconventional way possible. Born and raised by Mexican immigrant parents, Eslabon
Armado consists of brothers Pedro Tovar Jr. (vocals) and Brian Tovar (bass), alongside Damian
Pacheco (requinto guitar) and Ulises Gonzalez (acoustic guitar). With the recent global success
of “Ella Baila Sola”, they have pioneered Musica Mexicana to an unmatched level of worldwide
dominance.
"Ella Baila Sola" peaked at No. 4 on the US Billboard’s Hot 100, marking the first time a Musica
Mexicana song entered the top 10. The song reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Chart, becoming
the most-streamed Latin song released in 2023 on the platform. The track also became the first
song of its genre to surpass 1 Billion Streams on Spotify. The track become the longest-running
No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, staying at the summit for a chart-shattering 19
weeks. The track became not only the first Música Mexicana song to go No 1 on Billboard’s
Global 200, but also became the biggest Latin Song of 2023, being crowned the No. 1 song on
Billboard’s Year-end “Hot Latin Songs” chart. The track also appeared on multiple 2023 Year-End
being named the “No. 1 Best Song of 2023” by Rolling Stone, and the “Collaboration of the
Year” by Variety. The group successfully positioned themselves as one of the biggest groups in
not only Música Mexicana, but in Latin music today.
On top of topping the charts globally in 2023, Eslabon Armado also kicked off Hispanic Heritage
Month on Good Morning America, becoming the first Musica Mexicana group to perform on the
national morning show, as well as performing their single “La Fresa” feat. Gabito Ballesteros on
The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. In addition, the group received their first-ever Latin
GRAMMY® nominations for “Song of the Year” and “Best Regional Mexican Song”. Despite
being early in their journey, Eslabon Armado is carving out an impressive legacy. They are
proving to the world that the Música Mexicana genre is here to stay, powered by a quartet of
passionate, talented young men who continue to earn global recognition.

Performing at the first-ever NBA con, Performing a SOLD-OUT show at the Mandalay Bay
Convention Center, performing at the T-Mobile Arena for “Dia Nacional de la Banda” on January
26th, 2024, and performing at The Virgin Hotel Las Vegas in a sold-out show on June 3rd, 2023,
Being part of the Michefest Festival on October 22nd, 2023.
The band started as a trio in 2017, influenced by their parents' music. They played ranchero and
norteño music, gaining attention through YouTube clips. They were noticed by Ángel del Villar of
Del Records, beginning the first steps in propelling their career. In 2020, they released their
debut singles "Con Tus Besos" and "La Trokita," hitting Nos. 15 and 37 on Billboard’s Hot Latin
Songs. Their first album, "Tu Veneno Mortal" (2020), led Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums
Chart, and they have released 6 No. 1 studio albums since.

In 2021, “Jugaste y Sufrí” (No. 69) marked their US chart debut, setting the stage for the global
hit that would be "Ella Baila Sola" feat. Peso Pluma. The song, written by Pedro Tovar, the lead
singer of the group, gained immense TikTok traction, which ultimately lead to its chart
dominating sucess.
The group's accolades include “Hot Latin Song of the Year” (Billboard Music Awards), “Top
Artist-Regional Mexican Urban” (Premios Tu Música Urbano), “Favorite Duo or Group” (Latin
American Music Awards), “Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year” (Billboard Latin Music Awards),
