Alejandro Sanz
From his debut in 1991 with 'Viviendo Deprisa', to his latest studio album “SANZ”, released in December 2021 and nominated for “Album of the Year” at the Latin Grammy Awards 2022, Alejandro Sanz has established himself as one of the most recognized and influential artists in the world.

With more than 25 million albums sold throughout his career, all his albums have achieved multiple Platinum Record status in Spain, Latin America and the United States.
Alejandro Sanz is also the Spanish artist with the most Grammy Awards in history, with a total of 22 Latin GRAMMYs and 4 GRAMMYs. In 2017, he was honored by the Latin Recording Academy as Person of the Year in recognition of his career and significant philanthropic contributions.

Throughout his career, Sanz has collaborated with different renowned artists from all over the world, including performers such as Alicia Keys, Shakira, Destiny's Child, Camila Cabello, The Corrs, Laura Pausini, Camilo, Alejandro Fernandez, Ivete Sangalo, Eros Ramazzotti, Juanes, Juan Luis Guerra, Andrés Calamaro, Marc Anthony, Carlos Vives, Paco de Lucía, Pablo Alborán, Joan Manuel Serrat, Joaquín Sabina, Nicky Jam or the legendary Tony Bennett, among many others.

In his last tour, “Sanz en Vivo”, Alejandro Sanz took his tour around the world with more than 100 concerts, selling out venues in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and the United States.

A social activist, Alejandro Sanz has also been recognized for his great involvement with non-governmental organizations such as Save The Children, Greenpeace, Juegaterapia or Doctors Without Borders. He has actively participated in numerous actions in favor of the environment since 2013, when he led the campaign “Save the Arctic” with Greenpeace, until his most recent intervention at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25), where he announced the intention to study and offset the emission of CO2 in his concerts.

Alejandro Sanz was chosen to represent Europe at the opening of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games to perform an emotional version of the classic IMAGINE (the immortal work that John Lennon recorded in 1971), arranged by Hans Zimmer, along with four other figures from the world of music: John Legend representing the American continent, Keith Urban for Oceania, Angelique Kidney for the United States, Angelique Kidjo for Africa, and the voices of the Suginami Children’s Choir of Japan as representatives of Asia.

Favorite Son of Andalusia and Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Berklee (USA), among his latest recognitions, the artist from Madrid got his own star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, has been designated Favorite Son of the Province of Cadiz, in addition to the granting of the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Cadiz or Beato de Liébana Award for Understanding and Coexistence in 2024.
