Griselda Flores is Billboard’s senior editor, Latin. From identifying cultural and musical trends that can lead to in-depth stories to fully understanding the business of music and the money driving it behind the scenes, Griselda is fully immersed in all things Latin music. Over the past few years, Griselda has written cover stories for global superstars such as Karol G, Anitta, Grupo Firme, Peso Pluma, Christian Nodal and Luis R Conriquez . Previously an assignment editor for Univision Chicago, where she won an Emmy Award for news specialty report/series, Griselda was born and raised in Chicago and is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago and a master’s degree in social justice and investigative reporting from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
