Yira Santiago Esq.
Yira Santiago is an attorney specializing in music and entertainment with fourteen years of experience. She is the founder and president of Protege Tu Música, LLC, which offers legal and educational services to the local and international music industry. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at the UPR School of Law, where she teaches legal aspects of the music industry.
Yira holds a master’s degree in law with a specialization in entertainment, media, and technology from UCLA, a Juris Doctor from UPR, and bachelor’s degree in music and drama from the same university. Recently, she was admitted to ISDE Law and Business Institute in Madrid, Spain, with a scholarship to continue her graduate studies. Previously, she worked as legal counsel and administrative judge in the music division of the Puerto Rican Institute of Culture.
In her private practice, she has advised and represented prominent clients such as Lyanno, Corina Smith, Miky Woodz, Omar Courtz, Dimelo Ninow, Alex Zurdo, Jacky Fontanez, Marcela Gandara, Marcos Sánchez, Lisa M, Limit 21, Memo and Vale, Gerardo Rivas, Sir Speedy, among others. She is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and was co-author of the magazine "The Global Fashion Lawyer." She has also given lectures for various organizations, both locally and internationally.
